What is the "Inner Circle?"
In February 2002, we started the "Inner Circle" Intercessory Prayer Time. The purpose of the ministry is to help Christians develop and maintain an effective and fervent prayer life. The ministry strives to bring together Intercessors (world-wide) who have a common anointing and passion for standing in the gap for someone else. The name "Inner Circle" came to Minister Stokes through the recording entitled "Work the Middle" by Ted & Sheri. The song reminds us that God is Alpha and Omega, but He expects us to work the middle. Many times, people who need prayer want and need someone to agree with them in the Spirit. We accomplish this by standing in the gap (in the Inner Circle) WITH them as they pray to receive. As intercessors, we stand praying and believing, between the "problem" and the "answer." Our ministry Scripture is Psalm 5:3 - "My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up." We meet EVERY fourth Saturday. Each month, the prayer theme is posted at www.marciastokes.org.
To join a prayer group, contact the leader identified on the Prayer Locations page. There is no membership fee...just a requirement to give prayer a try.

The "Inner Circle" Prayer Time Ministry stands in the gap for our communities, churches and children
(amongst other things).
We pray EVERY FOURTH SATURDAY of the month.
We stand in the place where others can't, won't or don't know how to stand.
We stand, praying and believing, between the "problem" and the "answer."
Someone has to "work the middle" - is that someone you?

Do you have family and/or friends stationed overseas in the military? If so, they may be stationed near one of our International Prayer Groups (Netherlands, Germany, Japan or Kenya). Please pass this information along and let them know that we would LOVE for them to join one of our prayer teams.
