Inner Circle Prayer
In February 2002, we started the "Inner Circle" Intercessory Prayer Time. The purpose of the ministry is to help Christians develop and maintain an effective and fervent prayer life. The ministry strives to bring together Intercessors (world-wide) who have a common anointing and passion for standing in the gap for someone else. The name "Inner Circle" came to Minister Stokes through the recording entitled "Work the Middle" by Ted & Sheri. The song reminds us that God is Alpha and Omega, but He expects us to work the middle. Many times, people who need prayer want and need someone to agree with them in the Spirit. We accomplish this by standing in the gap (in the Inner Circle) WITH them as they pray to receive. As intercessors, we stand praying and believing, between the "problem" and the "answer." Our ministry Scripture is Psalm 5:3 - "My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up." We meet EVERY fourth Saturday.
